The Warriors, for their part, have reportedly informed Butler they have no plans to trade him. They did not offer Butler for Giannis Antetokounmpo in trade talks in February, instead offering Draymond Green. With Green now an unrestricted free agent, the Warriors face a situation where acquiring Davis would mean bringing him in while Green could potentially join James elsewhere.
