The Edmonton Oilers have announced the signing of forward Colton Dach to a two-year contract extension. The deal, finalized on Sunday, carries an average annual value of $1.2 million, totalling $2.4 million over its duration. Dach, who is 23 years old, was acquired by the Oilers from the Chicago Blackhawks earlier in the year. The trade, which occurred on March 4, involved the Oilers sending forward Andrew Mangiapane and a conditional first-round pick in the 2027 NHL Draft to Chicago. In return, Edmonton received Dach and forward Jason Dickinson.
